Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: June 26, 2026

StreetVenture is a game about exploring real places with real effort, shared with a community of other explorers. This Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy”) explains what we expect from you and what we do not allow. It applies to everything you do on the Services — the activities you record, the routes and photos you share, your profile, and how you treat other people.

This Policy is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. The terms we capitalize here (“Services”, “content”) have the meanings given there. If you break these rules, we may remove content, limit features, or suspend or permanently ban your account, as described in §10 (Reporting and Enforcement) below.

In short: be honest about your activities, respect other people, and keep everyone — including yourself — safe.

1. Authentic Activities

StreetVenture rewards real movement through real streets. Coverage, XP, levels, streaks, quests, expeditions, and leaderboards only mean something if everyone earns them honestly. You agree not to:

We may remove activities and adjust or reset progress that we reasonably believe is inauthentic.

2. Respect Other People

The community works because people are decent to one another. You agree not to:

Disagreement is fine. Cruelty, targeted abuse, and hate are not.

3. Location and Personal Safety

StreetVenture is built around where you go, so location-related abuse is something we take especially seriously. You agree not to:

Protect yourself, too: use the app’s privacy controls to keep sensitive activities private, and be thoughtful about routes that start or end at your home. See our Privacy Policy for the controls available to you.

4. Child Safety

We have zero tolerance for content or conduct that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits children. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexualization of minors, and any attempt to contact or solicit a minor for harmful purposes.

We remove this content immediately, permanently ban the accounts involved, and report it to the relevant authorities and child-safety organizations (such as NCMEC) as required by law. StreetVenture is not intended for anyone under 16 — see Terms §1 (Eligibility).

5. Dangerous, Violent, and Harmful Content

You agree not to post, share, or promote:

6. Illegal, Explicit, and Restricted Content

You agree not to use the Services to:

Remember that activities, photos, and comments may be visible to other users — keep what you share appropriate for a general audience.

7. Privacy and Intellectual Property of Others

If you believe content on the Services infringes your intellectual property, contact us at the address in §11 below.

8. Platform Integrity and Security

To keep the Services safe and available for everyone, you agree not to:

Responsible security research is welcome — if you find a vulnerability, please report it privately to us rather than exploiting it.

9. Spam and Inauthentic Behavior

Don’t use the Services to spam, phish, run scams, post deceptive or misleading content, or engage in coordinated inauthentic behavior. Don’t artificially inflate engagement (follows, reactions, comments) through fake accounts or automation.

10. Reporting and Enforcement

If you see something that breaks these rules, report it. You can report content directly in the app using the report option on an activity, comment, or profile, or email us at support@streetventure.app. You can also block another user from your own account at any time.

When we become aware of a violation, we may — at our discretion and proportionate to the harm — do any of the following:

The most serious violations — especially those involving child safety, credible threats, or imminent danger — can result in an immediate permanent ban without prior warning.

Appeals. If you believe we got it wrong, reply to the enforcement notice or email support@streetventure.app and we will review it.

11. Changes and Contact

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above and, where significant, announced in the app. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
